These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set out how you may access and use the Galloptics website and services ("Galloptics", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What Galloptics Is (and Is Not)

Galloptics is a data and insights platform for horse racing. We provide statistics, historical information, tools and community features to help you understand racing form and performance.

Galloptics does not accept bets and is not a bookmaker. Any decisions you make when placing bets with licensed bookmakers are entirely your own responsibility.

Nothing on Galloptics should be viewed as financial advice, investment advice or a guarantee of future results. Racing always carries risk and you can lose money.

2. Eligibility & Responsible Use

Galloptics is designed for users who are at least 18 years old and who are legally allowed to access racing and betting information in their country or region. By using the site you confirm that:

You are 18+ or the legal age of majority where you live.
You will use Galloptics for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You will not use Galloptics to encourage others to gamble in an unsafe or irresponsible way.

3. Accounts, Security & Membership

To use certain features (such as the Forum or PRO tools) you must create an account. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information when you sign up.
Keeping your login details safe and private.
Telling us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We offer different membership levels (for example FREE, PRO, PRO_PLUS and FOUNDER). These levels may change over time. Any access periods, pricing and benefits will be clearly described on our Pricing page or during checkout.

We may suspend or close your account if we believe you have broken these Terms, misused the site, or acted in a way that could harm other users or Galloptics.

4. Payments & Renewals

Paid memberships, day passes and other purchases are handled through third-party payment providers (for example Stripe or app store billing). By purchasing a membership you agree to:

Pay the displayed price, taxes and any applicable fees.
Allow us or our payment partner to securely process your payment information.
Check renewal dates, cancellations and refunds on the Pricing or account page once these are live.

We aim to keep pricing stable but may change fees or membership features in the future. Where possible we will give reasonable notice before major changes.

5. Referral Programs

Galloptics may offer referral bonuses or promotional rewards at its discretion. Referral programs may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time.

We’ll always show the rules clearly when a referral offer is live — so you’ll know exactly what counts, what you’d earn, and when it applies.

6. Data, Accuracy & Availability

We work hard to keep racecards, results and statistics accurate and up to date. However:

Racing data is provided by third-party sources and can contain errors or omissions.
Races may be rescheduled, abandoned or amended by racecourses and governing bodies.
Galloptics is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

You should always double-check critical information (such as race times, runners or non-runners) with official racecards or your chosen bookmaker before placing any bets.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

To keep Galloptics safe, fair and enjoyable for everyone, you agree that you will not:

Attempt to access data, areas or tools you do not have permission to use.
Use automated systems, bots, scrapers or scripts to collect data from Galloptics.
Reverse engineer, copy, reproduce or redistribute our data, tools or interface without written permission.
Upload or share harmful content, including viruses, malware or attempts to exploit vulnerabilities.
Interfere with the proper functioning of the site, servers, API or systems we rely on.
Use Galloptics for unlawful purposes or encourage others to behave unlawfully.

We may restrict access, suspend accounts or take technical measures to protect the service if we detect activity that breaches this policy.

8. Single User Accounts & Sharing Rules

Galloptics accounts are licensed for one individual person only. By using the site, you agree that:

You will not share your login details with anyone else.
You will not allow multiple people to access Galloptics under your account.
You will not sell, rent or "group share" your membership.
You will take reasonable steps to keep your password safe and private.
You will notify us if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.

These rules ensure a fair pricing model and protect members-only features like PRO tools, historical data and advanced statistics.

9. Detecting Account Misuse

To protect the service and enforce single-user accounts, Galloptics may automatically detect:

Logins from multiple devices in patterns suggesting account sharing.
Simultaneous sessions from different households or regions.
Excessive or unusual API or data requests.
Behaviour consistent with password sharing, automation or scraping.
Attempts to bypass membership limits or security measures.

If suspicious activity is detected, we may:

Ask you to verify recent activity or devices.
Log out active sessions.
Temporarily suspend the account.
Permanently close the account if misuse continues.

We will aim to contact you first unless immediate action is required to protect the system or other users.

10. Forum & Community Rules

If you use the Galloptics Forum or other community features, you agree to:

Be respectful to other users and avoid abusive language.
Not harass, threaten or impersonate others.
Not post illegal content, spam, advertising or anything that infringes another person's rights.

We may remove content, restrict access or close accounts if we believe community features are being misused or if posts breach these rules.

11. Intellectual Property

The Galloptics brand, logo, design, data tools and site content are protected by copyright and other IP rights. You may:

Use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Share links to public pages, as long as you do not misrepresent Galloptics.

You may not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute Galloptics data, tools or content without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Galloptics and Grizzly Creative Ltd are not liable for:

Any losses you incur when betting or trading on races.
Indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, opportunities or data.
Issues caused by third-party services, such as racing data providers, bookmakers, payment processors or internet providers.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limits would be unlawful.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data, including account details, marketing preferences and analytics. Please read it carefully alongside these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, legal requirements or improvements to the service.

When we make significant changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the site or by email.

15. Refund Policy

All payments for Galloptics memberships, day passes and other paid features are final once the service has been accessed. As Galloptics provides digital content that is available immediately, refunds are not normally offered.

If you believe a payment has been taken in error, or you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us within 7 days using the Contact page and we will review your request fairly. Refunds are granted at the discretion of Galloptics.

Where payments are handled by third-party providers (for example Stripe or app stores), their refund rules may also apply.
